Sberna Antonella

Antonella Sberna, born in Rome on January 11, 1982, is an Italian politician. The eldest of four siblings, she holds a master’s degree in Marketing, Consumption, and Communication from IULM University in Milan. Her professional experiences include internships at the European Parliament in Brussels and at the Italian Consulate General in Los Angeles, six years working in public administration at the Italian Senate, and employment at a communication and events agency until 2023.
In her political career, Sberna served as councilor for social services, family, and European policies for the municipality of Viterbo. In the 2024 European elections, she ran for Fratelli d’Italia in the Central constituency and was elected with 49,410 votes, becoming the first MEP elected from Viterbo. Since July 16, 2024, Sberna has been a Member of the European Parliament, affiliated with the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group, and serves as Vice President of the European Parliament.
As an MEP, she is a full member of the REGI Committee (Regional Development), HOUS Committee (Housing Crisis), and the DLAT Delegation (Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly). She is a substitute member of the ENVI Committee (Environment, Climate, and Food Security) and the DPAL (Palestine), DMER (Mercosur), and DMED (Union for the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly) delegations.
