Santoro Luca

Luca Santoro is a researcher in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, where he earned his Ph.D. focusing on nondestructive testing (NDT) applied to welded joints. His research activity includes advanced techniques such as active thermography, material characterization, and weld analysis, with particular attention to automated defect detection and fatigue behavior.

As the CEO of a startup spun off from the Politecnico, he transforms academic discoveries into operational solutions for industry: intelligent systems based on NDT technologies designed to monitor industrial processes and detect defects and anomalies.
