Quartey Mona-Helen Kabuki

H.E. Mona Quartey is the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Italy.

An economist and financial executive with over thirty years’ experience, she has developed a solid expertise in economic strategy, public finance, risk management and governance. She holds a degree in Development Planning, an MBA in Finance and an LLM in International Commercial Law.

Throughout her career, she has held senior positions at international financial institutions and leading private-sector companies. From 2013 to 2017, she served as Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Finance, helping to shape the country’s economic and fiscal policies. She also has extensive experience on the boards of directors of public and private organisations and companies, gained at both national and international levels.
