Giuseppe Puglisi

Giuseppe Puglisi

Associate Professor of Astrophysics and Cosmology at the University of Catania. After receiving his Ph.D. from SISSA (Trieste) and spending five years as a researcher at Stanford University and UC Berkeley, he returned to Italy to advance his work on the early Universe.

His research combines computational cosmology, High-Performance Computing, and Machine Learning to analyze the Cosmic Microwave Background and to model the microwave Galactic polarized emission.

He holds key scientific leadership roles in prestigious international collaborations, including LiteBIRD and the Simons Observatory.
