Pavone Sabino

Sabino Pavone is President of the Waldorf Novalis Free School of Conegliano Veneto and a teacher of the institute. He was born in 1956, lives and studies in Milan technical sciences but cultivates musical art. He attends the Faculty of Agronomy at the State University. He moves to Liguria, teaches at Ventimiglia in professional institute where he has the first meeting with a class of young teenagers who are eager to start the profession but in an educational environment that is as touching as exciting. He then created an association for Steinerian pedagogy from which started a Waldorf nursery, still existing.
He approaches Steiner Waldorf school in Oriago di Mira (VE); here he teaches during the day and in the evening he attends the training course. Then in 1995 he moved to Conegliano Veneto where a community of biodynamic farmers already existed and with them he started the free pedagogical association Steiner-Waldorf La Cruna which soon gives life to asylum and later to primary and secondary school and finally to high school with two study fields. Meanwhile, he collaborates with the National Association of Teachers, works in the Training Course “Accademia Carlo Rizzi” of Oriago di Mira and since 2004 he coordinates the activities of training SW teachers in Italy. He is Vice-President of the SW National Federation, where he mainly works as a representative for the school activities of the third decade of the seven-year planning period. He also seeks out time to “support Freedom of Education,” which he considers “the most important battle of an invisible war whose effects unfortunately are in the eyes of all those who want to see.”
