Who we are
Nelli Francesco

Francesco Nelli was born in Rome in 1977; he is married and the father of Flavio.
In 2001, he was elected as a councillor for Rome’s 10th municipal district, where he was responsible for social services, education and sport. In 2005, he was elected Chair of the Municipal Council and re-elected the following year.
Since 2011, he has been a municipal councillor for Cittareale, and since 2013 he has served as Councillor for the Velino Mountain Community, where he is responsible for social services, technological innovation and tourism.
He graduated in Administrative Sciences in 2009 from LUMSA University in Rome, and in Public Administration from LUMSA University in Rome in 2011, he holds two Level II master’s degrees: one in Politics and International Relations, obtained in 2013 at LUMSA, and the other in Innovation and Management of Public Administration, obtained in 2015 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. In 2017, he obtained a Master’s degree in Business Communication, Marketing and New Media from LUMSA.
He served as a subject expert for the Chair of Computer Science in the Department of Economics, Politics and Modern Languages at LUMSA in Rome from 2012 to 2015, and for the Chair of Computer Science in the Department of Law at LUMSA in Rome from 2012 to 2015.
He has been an official at the Italian Medicines Agency since 2005, having previously worked for the Lazio Regional Government and several private companies in the IT sector.
He has been mayor of Cittareale since 6 June 2016.
