Moroni Italo

Since 2021, Italo Moroni has served as Executive Director and Business Unit Lead for Italy in the Energy and Utilities sector of Engineering, focusing on the oil & gas and power & utilities industries.

He joined the Engineering Group in 2012 as part of the customer-facing management team in the Enterprise division and held positions of increasing responsibility, initially in the OIL market and later across the entire E&U market. Today, he leads the Energy and Utilities business unit, already a market leader in Italy, supporting clients with innovative solutions for digital transformation, essential for enabling the energy transition.

With over 25 years of experience serving clients across the energy sector—from upstream to downstream and retail—he combines deep knowledge of the Energy & Utilities industry gained in major management consulting firms, covering business processes, sector regulations, IT strategy, and enabling technologies.

He earned a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and completed a specialization in Customer Relationship Management at POLIMI Graduate School of Management.
