Who we are
McNeill Jared

Jared McNeill is an actor, director, educator, and multidisciplinary creator in theater and digital performance. He graduated from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in 2008 and was an Artist-in-Residence at CultureHub Europe (2019–2020), where he developed innovative telematic storytelling projects.
He is Professor of Acting and Directing at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts “Silvio D’Amico” in Rome, where he teaches in English.
Main works as director/actor:
– Telematic Embrace (2018–2020): SeoulArts/La Mama Umbria co-production exploring digital storytelling and VR.
– Bisse Social Live Show (2019): co-produced with Teatro Nuovo Spoleto, Associazione Bisse, and La Mama.
– The Conductor (2016–2019): co-produced with Teatro Parma and La Comédie de Clermont-Ferrand, performed in Parma, Rome, and Assisi.
As an actor, he worked for 10 years with the Peter Brook International Theatre Company.
At the Silvio D’Amico Academy, he also led workshops such as “The Sand and Cement” and projects in La Mama Umbria/Academy labs. On The Brooklyn Rail, he wrote about the importance of telematic art during the pandemic.
