Matteo Marzotto (1966) has been appointed Executive Vice President of Italian Exhibition Group since October 2016; former President and CEO of Fiera di Vicenza S.p.A (December 2013 to October 2016).
As of September 2016 he has been named President and shareholder of Dondup, whilst from October 2012 he is President of the Progetto Marzotto Association, and since September 2008 he is also President of Mittelmoda Fashion Award.
As an entrepreneur, he has been Chairman of Vionnet S.p.A., the iconic brand acquired and relaunched from January 2009 to January 2013. After working for fifteen years in various capacities for his family’s companies (Marzotto S.p.A.), acquiring his experience in the textile and clothing business, between 2003 and 2008 he was first COO and subsequently Chairman of Valentino S.p.A.
As a Civil Servant, from June 2013 to July 2016 he has served as Chairman of Fondazione CUOA-University Centre of Business Administration and from August 2008 to November 2011 he has been Chairman and Commissioner of the Enit-National Tourism Agency.
He is one of the founders (January 1997) of the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation, as well as a permanent member (September 2013) of the board of Nuovi Orizzonti – AIPDF (Private International Association of the faithful of pontifical right). Member of the board of directors of several companies, including Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A., Morellato & Sector S.p.A and Fondazione CUOA-University Centre of Business Administration.
Matteo Marzotto has been part of the Ambassador team for the World Exposition Expo Milan 2015.
He is also an active sports enthusiast and passionate of all disciplines related to flight.
