Francesco Marsico

Francesco Marsico, a graduate in Political Science from La Sapienza University in Rome, specialises in social policy and social planning.

A volunteer and conscientious objector to military service, he began his professional career at the Diocesan Caritas of Rome, working alongside Don Luigi Di Liegro. He has been with Caritas Italiana since 1999, becoming its deputy director in 2002, a position he held until 2013.
He is currently Head of the National Division of Caritas Italiana, as well as executive coordinator of the Alliance Against Poverty in Italy.
