Marius Alejandro

Awarded “Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2015” in Venezuela by the Schwab Foundation of the World Economic Forum and the Fundación Venezuela sin Límites, and named a 2015 Ashoka Fellow in Venezuela.

He has had experience in the telecommunications and software sectors since 1993. As an electronics engineer, project manager and subsequently head of business development, he has been involved in many innovative, large-scale and complex projects across Latin America. Since 2003, he has held senior management positions with Latin American and European companies, helping to launch or expand their operations in the region.

Since 1999, he has worked as a volunteer for non-profit organisations, particularly in fundraising and in defining and managing projects. Since 2010, he has been developing ‘Trabajo y Persona’, a non-profit foundation dedicated to educating young people on how to work.
