Mahfoudh Mohamed Fadhel

Born in December 21st, 1965 in Gafsa (Tunisia), Mohamed Fadhel Mahfoudh is Dean of Barristers, and he was President of the Tunisian Bar. He married with two children.
In 1989, he graduated in Private Law at Université de Picardie (Amiens) and the following year he passed the Bar exam.
Regarding the professional experience:
Statute:
• Attorney-at-law before the Supreme court (Avocat près la Cour de Cassation) since 2001.
• 2013: Elected President of the Tunisian Bar.
• 2010-2013: Président of the Régional Section of Lawyers in Sfax.
• 2007-2010: General Secretary of the Régional Section of Lawyers in Sfax.
• 2006-2007: University lecturer for the Bar exam subjects.
Activities:
• 2013-2015: Participation to the democratic transition and to the National Dialogue.
• 2011: Member of ISIE (Instance Supérieure Indépendante pour les Elections) in charge of Tunisian residents abroad.
• 2001-2004: Member of the Régional Section of Lawyers in Sfax.
Honors:
• Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet in 2015 since the The Tunisian Bar was part of it.
