Luciano Sergio

Sergio Luciano (Naples, 1960) is a journalist, editorial director, and university lecturer, with an established career in Italy’s leading economic media. He holds a degree in Humanities with top honors and has been registered as a journalist since 1983.
He began his professional career collaborating with Radiocor, Avvenire, and Il Giorno, later taking on senior roles such as Chief Editor of Economics at La Stampa, Finance Editor at Il Sole 24 Ore, and head of the economic pages of La Repubblica. Between 2006 and 2009, he directed the weekly magazine Economy, founded by Mondadori in 2003, and managed the online newspaper ilnuovo.it. He has also led Telelombardia and held managerial positions as Director of External Relations at Fastweb and Unipol.
Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of the monthly magazines Economy and Investire, published by Economy Group, an independent publishing house he co-founded. He also contributes as a writer to IlSussidiario.net. In academia, he teaches in the Master’s program in Corporate Communication at the Università Cattolica di Milano, helping train professionals in communication and economic journalism. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the monthly magazines Economy and Investire, published by Economy Group, the independent publishing house he co-founded.
