Stephen E. Lewis is associate professor and chair of English at the Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio, U.S.A.).  He teaches widely in 17th-century English literature (Shakespeare, Donne, Herbert, Milton), as well as in modern American and British literature.  He is also well-regarded as a translator into English of several books by major contemporary French philosophers, including Jean-Louis Chrétien, Jean-Luc Marion, and Claude Romano.  Stephen Lewis is one of the curators of the Rimini Flannery O’Connor exhibit
