Andrea Leverano

Andrea Leverano is the managing director of DriveNow Italia.

Born in 1972, he has over 15 years’ experience in the sustainable mobility sector. After taking his first steps as a consultant for Milano Car Sharing, from 2001 to 2007 Andrea Leverano moved to Trentino-Alto Adige for a consultancy role at Ökoinstitut Südtirol, an experience that led him to work in Germany and Austria and to specialise in the development of sustainable mobility projects with the German railways, Deutsche Bahn.

Thanks to the expertise he had gained, in 2007 he became general manager of Car Sharing Italia, where he oversaw the acquisition by ATM SpA and the subsequent sale to ACI Global. This diverse background led him to launch DriveNow’s free-floating car-sharing service on the Italian market.
