Clara Gaymard is co-founder of RAISE.Founded in 2013 with Gonzague de Blignières, the RAISE group has five complementary activities: RAISE Investissement, RAISE REIM, RAISE Impact, RAISE Ventures and RAISE Endowment Fund called RAISESHERPAS.Clara Gaymard and Gonzague de Blignières launched a movement for a benevolent economy in April 2018, called Mouvement pour une Economie Bienveillante. The aim is to encourage and bring together companies and people who believe, act and do for a world where profit and generosity are indivisible, in order to create value.Clara Gaymard is a member of the Board of Directors of Veolia, Bouygues, Danone and LVMH.From September 2006 to 2016, she was President and CEO of GE France.Before joining GE, Clara Gaymard achieved an outstanding career in French administration. After completing her ENA degree, Clara joined the State Auditor as an auditor, then as a consultant. From 1991 to 2003, she held various positions in the French administration, mainly at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where she focused on SME investment and economic development.In 2003, her appointment as Ambassador, President of the Invest In France Agency (AFII) was a decisive crossroads. At the head of the Agency, Clara Gaymard was focusing more carefully and effectively on the issues of innovation and public-private collaboration to foster economic prosperity.She was also President of the Women's Forum from 2015 to 2018.A former ENA student, Clara Gaymard is a graduate of the IEP Paris.Clara is an officer of the National Order of Merit and Knight of Legion of Honor. She is also a Commendatore of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.Clara is also the author of several novels and essays, including ‘Faut qu'on parle’ published in 2016.
