Kaigama Ignatius

Ignatius Kaigama, born in July of 1958 in Kona, Nigeria, was appointed the Archbishop of Jos in 2000 and, since January 2010, he was called to deal with the conflict between Christians and Muslims, also in their relations with the international media. Kaigama was ordained a priest in 1981 and earned his doctorate in theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1991. He is the vice-president of the Episcopal Conference of Nigeria and the President of The Christian Association of Nigeria.
