Iaccarino Fabrizio

Fabrizio Iaccarino is Head of Institutional Affairs Italy at Enel, a role in which he coordinates institutional relations and promotes initiatives for sustainable energy transition, representing the company in national and international contexts. He holds a Law degree from Università La Sapienza, a second-level Master in Public Contract Law and Techniques from Università LUMSA, and a specialization diploma in International Nuclear Law from Université de Montpellier II.
He gained approximately ten years of professional experience as a lawyer, both in private practice and in-house at Sogin, representing Italy in international forums at the OECD and the United Nations. He later held senior positions in the energy sector at the Ministry of Economic Development and at Sace, before joining Enel. Over twelve years at the company, he has taken on increasing responsibilities, currently leading the Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Division for Italy, managing a complex team of around 80 people.
He is a lecturer in courses and master programs on energy and environmental law, lobbying, and stakeholder engagement. He holds significant association roles, including Vice-President of WEC Italia, board member of the Associazione Italiana Economisti dell’Energia and Anima per il Sociale, member of Confindustria’s Technical Group on Corporate Social Responsibility, of the General Council of Confindustria Energia, of Elettricità Futura, and of Unindustria Roma. He also serves on the Board of Enel Cuore, the company foundation dedicated to social and humanitarian projects.
