Gozzi Antonio

Antonio Gozzi is the President of Federacciai for the 2022-2024 term. Born in Chiavari in 1954, since 1995 he has been the President and CEO of Duferco Italia Holding, the company that oversees the Italian presence of the multinational group operating in various sectors including steel production, energy, engineering, logistics, and shipping. A prominent figure in the steel industry and related activities, he played a key role in the transformation of the Duferco Group and is the founder of the business incubator Wylab. He previously served as President of Federacciai from 2012 to 2018.

As the President of Interconnector Energy Italia and representative of hard-to-abate sectors in Confindustria, Gozzi has been working for months on the issues of energy transition and its impact on strategic sectors of the Italian industry. He has had a long collaboration with the University of Genoa as an Associate Professor, focusing on topics related to industry, energy, and shipping. An avid football enthusiast, Antonio Gozzi has also been the President of Virtus Entella, a football club based in Chiavari (Genoa) competing in the Italian Serie C championship since 2007.
