Giusti Daniele

Father Daniele Giovanni Giusti, mccj, has been Secretary General of the Comboni Missionaries Institute since 1 April 2021. At the same time, he has also been appointed Legal Representative of the Daniele Comboni International College, located in the Curia District in Rome-Paris.
Before taking up these positions, Father Giusti played a significant role in St. Kizito Hospital in Matany, in north-eastern Uganda, where the Comboni Missionaries had set up a health service. He was the first Comboni doctor to arrive in Matany in the late 1970s. Arriving in 1976, he learned the local language and felt welcomed by the Karimojong people. With his presence as medical director and later as administrator, the hospital developed more rapidly, introducing new departments, services and staff.
