Giussani Luigi

Luigi Giussani (1922–2005) studied at the Theological Faculty of Venegono, where he later taught for several years. In 1954, he left seminary teaching to work in secondary schools. From 1964 to 1990, he was a professor of Introduction to Theology at the Catholic University of Milan. In the mid-1950s, he founded the Communion and Liberation movement, which is now present in Italy and in nearly eighty countries around the world.
