Patacconi Gerardo

Director of the Ernesto Illy Master’s Programme in Coffee Economics and Science and Strategy Advisor. He was Head of Operations at the International Coffee Organisation (ICO), based in London. Prior to this role, Patacconi served as Director of the Agribusiness Department at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), where he had worked since 1987.

His expertise lies in the development and implementation of policies, strategies, financing and development projects in the agro-industrial sector, with a particular focus on the coffee sector, through public-private partnerships, sustainability and regenerative models.
