Galdi Marco

Marco Galdi is a lawyer licensed to practise before the Supreme Courts and an associate professor of constitutional public law at the University of Salerno, where he also serves as chair of the Teaching Council for Economics, Business and Territory.
Author of numerous publications on public law, monographs and scientific articles, he is president of the Centre for Public Studies and Research, a third sector association that promotes the publication of the scientific journal “PasSaggi Costituzionali”. Recently, he has focused in particular on issues relating to the constitutional importance of education and training.
From April 2010 to June 2015, he was Mayor of the city of Cava de’ Tirreni (SA), in whose statute he included the obligation to “exercise one’s functions through the autonomous initiative of citizens and social groups, provided they are able to perform them adequately” (Art. 4). Until September 2025, he served as President of the Degree Programme in Economics, Business and Territory at the University of Salerno.
