He was Director of Education for Government & Non Profit, within the Government, Health & Not for Profit division of SDA Bocconi in Milan. In the previous six years he was a member of the Central Charity Commission, the governing body of the Cariplo Foundation, where he participated in the working groups of the Subcommittees for Personal Services and Art and Culture. He was also president of the Social Venture Foundation Giordano Dell’Amore, an important strategic and operational arm within the Social Innovation program that Cariplo Foundation launched in November 2017. He is Associate Professor of Practice of Government, Health and Not for Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is Contract Professor of “Economics of Enterprises and Public Administrations” at Bocconi University. Until December 2018, he was, among other things, responsible of the social and socio-sanitary services area at Cergas, Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management at Bocconi University in Milan and, previously, Director of the EMMAP executive master in Management of Public Administration, also at SDA Bocconi. In the academic field, he he also deals with and has been involved in research on social innovation, planning and change in local welfare systems, institutional structures and service models for non-self-sufficiency. He is Scientific Director of the Long Term Care Observatory (OLTC) of Cergas – SDA Bocconi.
