Fiori Marcello

Marcello Fiori, General Director of INAIL

He graduated in Letters and Philosophy from La Sapienza University of Rome with a grade of 110/110 with honors.

He is a first-tier executive in the public administration, in the office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, where he held several senior management positions and, starting in 2021, served as Head of the Department of Public Administration.

Previously, he held coordination roles for the management of numerous emergencies at the Civil Protection Department, served as Chief of Staff at the Municipality of Rome, Secretary General of the Ministry of Communications, Extraordinary Commissioner of Formez, and Director of the Steering Committee of institutions and companies involved in the Jubilee 2000 events.

He was appointed General Director of INAIL by decree of the Minister of Labour and Social Policies No. 88 on May 30, 2024.
