Felice Flavio

Flavio Felice is a full professor of the History of Political Doctrines at the University of Molise, president of the Tocqueville-Acton Study Centre and of the Scientific Council of the San Pio V Institute of Political Studies. He is editor of the journals *Prospettiva Persona*, ‘Power and Democracy’ and ‘Il Pensiero Storico’, a tenured research professor at The Catholic University of America, and a member of the Mont Pèlerin Society and the Faith and Reason Institute in Washington D.C.

He was Michael Novak Distinguished Visiting Scholar-in-Residence at The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. (January–May 2025), visiting professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (2018–2024) and holder of the Chair of the History of Political Doctrines at the Pontifical Lateran University, where, from 2010 to 2017, he directed the ‘Caritas in Veritate’ International Research Centre and the courses on the Social Doctrine of the Church run by the Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice Foundation.

His recent publications include: Pensare il Buongoverno, LEV 2025; Wilhelm Röpke, IBLLibri 2024; Michael Novak, IBLLibri 2022; Popolarismo liberale, Morcelliana 2021; The Limits of the People, Rubbettino 2020. He has edited the Italian editions of several works by Michael Novak and Wilhelm Röpke.
