Gerolamo Fazzini

Gerolamo Fazzini (Verona, 1962) is a journalist, essayist and television writer.

From 2001 to 2013, he edited the PIME monthly magazine Mondo e Missione; as one of the founders of the Festival della Missione, he served as artistic director of the first edition (Brescia, 2017). He is currently an editorial consultant for the magazines Credere and Jesus and a columnist for Avvenire, a publication with which he has been collaborating for over 40 years. A former lecturer in Media and Information at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Brescia from 2019 to 2025, he is the author of numerous books, some of which have been translated abroad. An expert on religious and international issues, he has produced reports from various parts of the world, particularly in Asia. He has devoted several articles and studies to the French mystic Madeleine Delbrêl, helping to raise her profile in Italy.
