Fava Gabriele

Lawyer Gabriele Fava is the Founder & Chairman of the law firm Fava & Associati, with thirty years of experience in judicial and extrajudicial consultancy and assistance in labour, corporate and civil law matters. He is an expert in labour and industrial relations, corporate restructuring and management negotiations, and specialises in corporate governance, with reference to the administrative liability of entities pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001. In April 2024, he was appointed President of INPS. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Labour Law at the Faculty of Economics and Law of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza campus. He has held numerous high-profile institutional positions. He was Extraordinary Commissioner of Alitalia Società Aerea Italiana S.p.A. and Alitalia Cityliner S.p.A., and Chairman of Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico Spa. From 2018 to 2023 he was a member and Vice-President of the Council of the Presidency of the Court of Auditors, where he was also President of the Observatory for Public Resources of the Accounting Judiciary. In the four-year period 2019-2023, he was probiviro of the Private Assembly of Confindustria. He has taken part, as a member or chairman, in boards of arbitrators, supervisory bodies and study commissions. Gabriele Fava is a member of AIDLaSS (Italian Association of Labour Law and Social Security) and is the author of several publications, mainly on labour, civil and data protection issues. He has always been committed to supporting the Third Sector, is legal advisor to Europa Donna Italia and partner of the TrasformAzione project for the re-employment of women with and after breast cancer. In March 2025, he was appointed member of the High Council of the SPES Academy ‘Carlo Azeglio Ciampi’, AISES ETS Foundation.
