Elvio Fassone, born in Turin in 1938, was Magistrate of the Court of Appeal and member of the CSM (Superior Council of the Judiciary) in the years 1990 – 1994.
Elected to the Senate of the Republic for the 13th and 14th legislatures (1996 – 2006) is the author of various publications on penitentiary and criminal proceedings.
In 2015 he published the book “Fine pena: ora” with Sellerio editor.
