Erbacci Gian Luca

Gian Luca Erbacci graduated from Bologna with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 and then in Astronomy in 2001.

He began his professional career at Lamborghini Automobili in Sant’Agata Bolognese, dealing with product industrialisation. He then entered the Automation/Machine Tools sector, occupying various management positions in Comau, Jobs and Mandelli. In 1998, he began his experience in the Transport sector, with the Industrial Management of Fiat Ferroviaria, which later became part of the Alstom Group. Within the Group, he held various Product Business Unit and Regional Divisions Management positions. After several years as head of the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia Region, he currently heads the Europe Region and is a member of Alstom’s Executive Committee.

During this last two decades, he also had experience as Technical Operations Director in Trenitalia.
