Donnarumma Stefano Antonio

Born in Milan on 29 October 1967. In June 2024, he was appointed CEO of the FS Group for the three-year period 2024-2027. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 with top marks. Married with three children, Stefano Antonio Donnarumma has extensive experience in industrial management in both manufacturing and infrastructure, both nationally and on international projects. After working for about nine years in the automotive and railway component manufacturing sector from 1994, Stefano Antonio Donnarumma was appointed to manage railway vehicle manufacturing plants in 2003. He has worked for major international groups such as TMD Friction, Bombardier Transportation and Alstom. In 2007, he moved into the public service infrastructure management sector, joining the Acea group, where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Acea Distribuzione (electricity networks) and advisor to ATO2 (water networks) until August 2012. He then moved to the Aeroporti di Roma Group (later incorporated into the ATLANTIA group) as Director of Airport Management and Accountable Manager of Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports and Chairman of ADR Assistance. In May 2015, he joined the A2A Group in Milan to take on the role of Director of Networks and Heating (managing all the group companies involved in the distribution of gas, electricity, water, district heating and public lighting); during this period, he was Chairman of Unareti SpA, A2A Calore e Servizi Srl, A2A Ciclo Idrico SpA and a director of Gruppo LGH SpA. From May 2017 to May 2020, he was CEO of Acea. He was CEO and General Manager of Terna from May 2020 to May 2023.
