Grazia Di Maggio

Grazia Di Maggio (11 November 1994) is one of the youngest and most recognisable voices of Fratelli d’Italia in the Chamber of Deputies. Having grown up in Pisticci, in Basilicata, she moved to Milan after completing her classical secondary education, where she graduated with honours from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, combining her political activism within Fratelli d’Italia with experience in journalism, working for press agencies and television.

Elected as a Member of Parliament in 2022, she has made non-negotiable values the focus of her work: she is a co-sponsor of the bill against surrogacy, the second signatory to the law that reintroduced the national holiday of St Francis of Assisi, and one of the leading figures in the campaign for informed consent – the legislation that restores to families the final say on sex education in schools.

As rapporteur in the Chamber of Deputies for the Valditara reform on conduct marks, she sits on the Committees on Culture, Science and Education; European Union Policies; Children and Adolescents; and the Committee of Inquiry into ‘Il Forteto’.

Hers is the battle of a new generation of the Italian right, rooted in the values of life, family and identity.
