Chiara Curti

Chiara Curti, an architect with a PhD in Humanities and Art History, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano.

Born in Milan in 1972, she has lived in Spain since 1999. Her research focuses on the life and work of Antoni Gaudí, with particular attention to the Sagrada Família and religious heritage.

She is the author of La Sagrada Família. Cathedral of Light, My Gaudí. The Biography Written by His Friends, translated into several languages, and Gaudí vivo, in Italian. She edited a special issue of National Geographic Historia dedicated to Gaudí.

Since 2015, she has been teaching at the Ateneu Sant Pacià in Barcelona. She has curated international exhibitions on Gaudí and the Sagrada Família and has collaborated with the Junta Constructora del Tempio, overseeing the restoration of the crypt and the Portal of Faith on the Nativity Façade.

She is a member of the Board of Future for Religious Heritage and president of the Associació Cultural Antoni Gaudí. In 2025, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy.
