Who we are
Corigliano Pippo

Engineer Giuseppe Corigliano was born in Naples where he graduated in electrical engineering.
He got to know Opus Dei and its Founder, St Josemaría Escrivá, and joined the Work in 1960.
He ran the Opus Dei centre in Naples until 1970 when he moved to Milan to join the Regional Commission of Opus Dei in Italy, the governing body of the Work’s activities in our country.
Since then he has been in charge of the Institution’s communication and, in this capacity, has come into contact with significant figures in the media world, including Indro Montanelli, Leonardo Mondadori, Vittorio Messori and many others.
In 1980 he came to Rome to direct the new Information Office of Opus Dei, and in particular he followed significant events in the Institution: in 1982 the erection of the Work as a Personal Prelature, in 1992 the beatification and in 2002 the canonisation of the Founder.
He has also always followed Opus Dei’s formation activities with university students.
