Francesco Cintelli

Francesco Cintelli is a geologist and geophysicist, specialising in geophysics applied to groundwater research, mineral exploration and seismic microzonation. He is a member of the Order of Geologists of Tuscany (Section A), and founder and CEO of Sismoelettrica S.r.l., a Florence-based company specialising in applied geophysical surveys (seismic, TEM electromagnetic and geoelectric methods) for groundwater resource exploration, mineral exploration, seismic microzonation and slope stability analysis.

Throughout his professional career, he has gained significant experience in the location and characterisation of aquifers in complex geological settings, contributing to sustainable water supply projects in Italy and abroad, including research collaborations with international institutions (such as in Tanzania).

He is also actively involved in the development of innovative software solutions for the interpretation of geophysical data to support mineral exploration and the management of natural resources, in partnership with Italian and international technology companies.
