Who we are
Ciafardoni Sara
Sara Ciafardoni is a young writer, blogger and cultural ambassador born in Cerignola, in the province of Foggia. Since childhood, she has lived with a rare condition that confines her to a wheelchair and forces her to spend long periods immobile – an experience she has transformed into an extraordinary creative force. Through reading and writing, she has forged an intense personal and professional journey, becoming a point of reference for many young readers thanks to her blog ‘La Lettrice Sognatrice’ and her social media channels dedicated to books.
Her literary debut came with the novel Con tutto l’amore che so (2019), which is partly autobiographical. She subsequently published works such as La ragazza che scrive (2023), Sono ancora qui… (2024) and other texts exploring themes of fragility, personal growth, inclusion and hope. Her works are characterised by a direct and emotional style, capable of portraying pain without losing faith in the future.
Over the years, Sara Ciafardoni has received numerous media and cultural accolades: her story has been featured on TG1, on Rai3’s programme Il Cacciatore di Sogni and in major national newspapers.
