Life
Mariolina Ceriotti Migliarese is a doctor, child neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist. She lives in Milan, where she works in a local child neuropsychiatry service and practises as a psychotherapist. She is married and the mother of six children.
For many years, she has focused primarily on issues relating to couples, families and the upbringing of children, with a particular emphasis on emotional and relational dynamics. She collaborates with various cultural and educational organisations and writes for Avvenire, where she contributes articles on family, relationships, parenting and the different stages of life.
Works
She is the author of numerous books on emotional and family life, including The Imperfect Family, The Imperfect Couple, Fathers and Children, Erotic & Maternal, Marry Me Again!, The Alphabet of Emotions and Perfectly Imperfect. In 2026, she published The Missing Link: Liberating Relationships with Ares, a book exploring the possibility of experiencing relationships in a freer and more authentic way, with a focus on nurturing relationships and mutual responsibility.
