Casini Marina

Marina Casini Bandini, born in 1966, is an Italian jurist and bioethicist, President of the Italian Movement for Life and of the European Federation “One of Us.” She is the daughter of Carlo Casini, founder of the Movement for Life.

She holds a degree in Law and is a lecturer in Bioethics and Biolaw at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. Her academic work is enriched by numerous publications on topics such as human rights, conscientious objection, the family, and issues related to the beginning and end of life. In 2023, she was unanimously elected President of the “One of Us” Federation, the largest European pro-life network, bringing together 50 associations from 24 countries. In this role, she has emphasized the importance of building bridges for dialogue and promoting an inclusive culture of life that respects human dignity.
