Lucio Caracciolo

Lucio Caracciolo is the editor-in-chief of the Italian geopolitical journal Limes. A journalist, he worked for the weekly Nuova Generazione*from 1973 to 1975 and for the daily la Repubblica from 1976 to 1983. He was editor-in-chief of MicroMega from 1986 to 1995. He is a columnist for la Repubblica and has taught courses and seminars on geopolitics at a number of universities. From 2009 to 2020, he taught Strategic Studies at Luiss University in Rome and, from 2017 to 2020, Geopolitics at San Raffaele University in Milan. His publications include Alba di guerra fredda (1986, Laterza), Euro no: non morire per Maastricht (1997), Terra incognita (2001, Laterza) and America vs. America (2011, Laterza), Storia contemporanea, co-authored with Adriano Roccucci (Le Monnier, 2017), and La pace è finita (Feltrinelli, 2022).
