Who we are
Cappochin Giuseppe

Founder of Atelier Cappochin, he works in architectural design and, in particular, in large-scale, territorial and urban planning—both strategic and implementation—along with program agreements and public–private partnerships.
From 2016 to 2021, he served as National President of the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists (CNAPPC).
Since 2021, he has been a member of the National Council for the 2021–2026 term, where he serves as Head of the Department for Urban Planning Reform and the Future of the City.
From 1996 to 2016, he was President of the Order of Architects of Padua.
He is President of the Barbara Cappochin Foundation, which promotes cultural and scientific initiatives on the relationship between architecture, territory, and urban transformation.
The Foundation has launched the 12th edition of the Barbara Cappochin International Architecture Prize 2025–2026, with applications open until January 31, 2026, and an awards ceremony and exhibition scheduled for May 2026.
The Foundation also promotes the Barbara Cappochin International Architecture Biennial, active since 2003, featuring exhibitions, conferences, and opportunities for dialogue involving students and professionals at an international level.
