Caltabiano Alfredo

Alfredo Caltabiano is married to Claudia and is the father of six children, two of whom are in foster care.
He is the National President of the National Association of Large Families (ANFN), coordinator of the Tax Commission of the Forum of Family Associations, and Vice President of the Families Council of the Municipality of Parma. He contributed to drafting the proposal for reform of the ISEE promoted by the Forum, as well as to the development of the “Parma Quotient” and the “Family Factor,” instruments aimed at promoting greater fiscal equity and recognition of family responsibilities in public policies.
Since April 5, 2024, he has served as a General Council Member of the Cariparma Foundation, appointed by the Diocese of Parma, a role he carries out alongside his associative and institutional activities.
In 2025, he chaired the ANFN national assembly in Lamezia Terme, an opportunity for strategic discussion to relaunch local activities and ratify appointments to the national council. On December 18, 2025, commenting on the 2024 ISTAT Census data, he emphasized that declining birth rates represent an issue of social justice and cultural vision, reaffirming the role of large families in the country’s demographic future.
