Rose Busingye was born in 1968 in Kampala (Uganda), where she still lives today.
She is a professional nurse with a specialization in infectious diseases.
From 1992 she works as a volunteer with patients suffering from HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases.
She founded the Meeting Point Kampala Association where she has been elected President. The Meeting Point takes care of healing sick people and their orphans and assisting the young.
Every day she performs a very precious, often hidden, work which is paramount for the education of so many underprivileged children.
