Brambilla Rosetta

Born in Bernareggio in 1943, a ceramist and nurse, she has been working with families in the favelas of Brazil since 1967, first with the Little Sisters and then as a lay person in São Paulo and Macapá.

From 1978 to 1981, together with Father Pigi Bernareggi, she established and directed the Pastoral Care programme for the favelas in Belo Horizonte.

Since 1978, she has been involved with the ‘Opere Educative Padre Giussani’ initiative for poor children and adolescents in Belo Horizonte.
