Born 1977 in Milan, Italy, he holds a doctorate in communication sciences from the University of Italian Switzerland in Lugano.

Working career
He has worked in projects and research in the field of digital technologies in education in Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Spain and the United States. He is currently Professor in Media in Education at the Department of Formation and Learning at the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland in Locarno. With the NGO association seed he is active in international cooperation projects, which have led him to gain experience in Croatia, Macedonia, Ecuador, Mexico and Ghana. In recent years he has led several projects on digital education with schools in northern Italy, involving pupils, teachers, principals and parents.

Personal life
Luca lives in Lugano and is the father of 6 children.
