Bellamy Francois Xavier

François-Xavier Bellamy (Paris, 1985) completes his secondary studies in Versailles and devotes himself to philosophy: in 2005 he enters the Scuola Normale Superiore in Paris and in 2008 he is promoted to the philosophy agrégation competition. After having been a member of two ministerial cabinets, he returned to teaching in high schools, first in the suburbs of Paris and then in the preparatory classes for the Scuola Normale Superiore competition.

In 2013 he founded the Soirées de la Philo in Paris, a series of philosophy conferences for the general public.

In 2008 he was elected deputy mayor (independent) of Versailles and in 2019 European parliamentarian.
