Bazzega Giorgio

Giorgio Bazzega, born in 1974, is the son of Sergio Bazzega, a marshal in the anti-terrorism security services who was killed by Walter Alasia, a member of the Red Brigades, on 15 December 1976. His life, long marked by hatred towards his father’s killers and grief over his death, took a turning point when he met Manlio Milani, president of the association of victims of Piazza Loggia, who set him on a long path towards restorative justice. Thanks to that experience and after extensive training, he has now become a criminal mediator specialising in restorative justice and devotes himself full-time to mediation projects, workshops with minors and adults serving alternative sentences and prisoners, testimonials and training.
