Ballantini Mario

Mario Ballantini is an Italian medical doctor and psychiatrist with extensive clinical and managerial experience in the field of mental health. He graduated in Medicine and specialized in Psychiatry at the University of Pisa, and further completed his training with second-level Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychopharmacology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan and in the Clinical Management and Treatment of Mood Disorders at the University of Pisa.
For over fourteen years, he served as Director of the Complex Psychiatry Unit and of the Department of Mental Health and Addictions at ASST Valtellina e Alto Lario, contributing to the development of integrated community-based psychiatric services and to the management of addiction services.
His professional activity also includes international experience: for many years he worked as an accredited consultant psychiatrist in Switzerland, providing specialist support within cross-border mental health services.
Ballantini is the author of clinical and organizational contributions on mental health and addictions, and regularly takes part in outreach, educational, and training initiatives in the field of psychiatry. He currently continues his professional activity as a private practitioner and psychiatric consultant
