Baldissarri Antonio

Antonio Baldissarri, 70 years old, married, 5 children, began working at age 15, earned his high school diploma through night school, has experience in the labor union movement, worked as a sales representative until 1989—the year Cidiesse was founded—and has been retired for 10 years, though he volunteers at the cooperative and serves as its president.

Cidiesse is a social cooperative that manufactures electrical automation panels with the goal of helping young people from the juvenile justice system and unaccompanied foreign minors transition into the workforce. It operates two workshops: one at Cidiesse’s headquarters and the other inside the Cesare Beccaria Juvenile Detention Center in Milan.
