Alessandro Aresu

Alessandro Aresu (Cagliari, 1983) is a writer and consultant. Having graduated in the philosophy of law from the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, he has built a career that combines research, institutional consultancy and the production of academic and popular-science works.
He is a scientific adviser to *Limes – the Italian journal of geopolitics*, for which he has been writing since 2005, and contributes to prestigious Italian and European publications, including Le Grand Continent, Aspenia, L’Unione Sarda, Il Fatto Quotidiano and Italy Post.
Throughout his career, he has held advisory and leadership roles in various public and private institutions, including the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and the Italian Space Agency.
He lectures on master’s degree programmes and at training institutes, and has edited works by authors such as Reinhold Niebuhr and Gordon Moore. The author of numerous publications, he is recognised for his contributions to our understanding of major global transformations.
