Anghileri Maria

Maria Anghileri, born in Milan in 1987, is Chief Operating Officer of the Eusider Group, one of Italy’s leading steel processing and distribution companies. She continues the legacy of a family that has been active in the steel industry for four generations.

Since November 2024, she has been President of Confindustria’s Young Entrepreneurs’ Association and Vice-President of Confindustria. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole Italia and of LIUC – Università Cattaneo.

After completing her classical studies at the Liceo Manzoni in Lecco, she graduated with top marks in Law from Bocconi University and was admitted to the bar. Following a career as a lawyer, she joined the family business. She furthered her education at Harvard Business School, completing the Owner/President Management Programme executive education course.

In her work with the association, she focuses in particular on industrial policy, innovation, training and employment, with a special emphasis on the contribution of the younger generations to the country’s economic, social and civic growth.

Active within Confindustria since 2015, from 2020 to 2024 she served as National Vice-President of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, with responsibility for Corporate Culture and Industrial Policy.
